A Cascade, IA long term care facility is seeking a talented Marketing Coordinator to support their communication and marketing team. The Marketing Coordinator assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of marketing communications plans to meet strategic goals of operating at 100% occupancy.  Regular office hours will be arrange with the Manager. This position will require being available on weekends or evenings to accommodate prospects and family visits, as requested.
 
 
What you get to do:

Responsible for building, tracking and reporting on volume of referrals, admissions and census as it relates to meeting 100% occupancy of the community.
Responsible for supporting & participating in the marketing activities and events for an assigned coverage area on a daily basis to include meeting with medical, insurance, legal and financial professionals, senior organizations, special interest groups, other community contacts, and potential residents and their families.
Responsible for effective direct consumer and community outreach and promotion.
Collaborates in marketing action plan creation and participates in meetings with the team to execute.
Tour and room readiness support.
Provides both internal and external educational in-services and other educational opportunities to the community, facility, and providers in assigned area.
Participates in community organizations in order to familiarize them with the facilities scope of service and build referral partnership.
Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
Demonstrates familiarity with policies of the facility and state and federal regulations pertaining to long-term care services.
Participates on committees and special projects and other related duties as assigned

 
 
What we need from you:

Education: Completion of an Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with course work in sales, marketing, business administration, social services or related area.
Outstanding communication and organizational skills
2-4 years’ experience in marketing and or public relations.
Availability: Flexible work schedule (which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours).
